The short version

• TaleReady does not track you.
• The developer does not collect personal data through the app.
• Your audio, library, bookmarks, and listening history stay on your devices.
• Nothing is uploaded to the developer automatically.

Audio and library data

When you choose files or a folder, TaleReady copies supported audio into its private app storage on iPhone. Information needed to organize and play the audiobook—such as its title, chapters, artwork, duration, bookmarks, and playback position—is stored locally. Audio you explicitly prepare for offline listening is sent to the paired Apple Watch and stored there.

Original files remain where you selected them. Removing a managed book or Watch offline audio from TaleReady does not delete those original files.

iCloud and Apple services

If you select a file stored in iCloud Drive, Apple's file provider may download it before TaleReady can import it. TaleReady does not operate that cloud service and does not receive your Apple Account credentials.

Apple processes App Store purchases. TaleReady uses StoreKit to verify the one-time TaleReady Pro entitlement and does not store payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase and account data is governed by its own terms.

Diagnostics and email

TaleReady keeps a small, bounded diagnostic history on device. Private values are redacted before storage. Audiobook titles, filenames, file paths, and audio content are excluded from the support export.

A support bundle is created only when you choose Export Support Bundle. You then decide whether and where to share it. TaleReady does not send it automatically.

If you contact TaleReady by email, the developer receives the address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. They are used only to answer your request, investigate the issue, or respond to your proposal.

Retention and deletion

Library and playback data remain on your iPhone until you remove the book, clear the applicable data in TaleReady, or uninstall the app. Offline audio remains on Apple Watch until you remove it, TaleReady safely evicts eligible listened audio according to an enabled Pro setting, or the Watch app is uninstalled.

Contact emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, resolve the request, and maintain necessary business or legal records. Apple may retain App Store transaction records independently.

Tracking, analytics, and advertising

TaleReady contains no third-party advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, developer analytics service, or tracking domain. The iPhone and Apple Watch privacy manifests declare no tracking and no collected data types.

Changes and questions

If TaleReady's data practices materially change, this policy will be updated before the new behavior is released, with a revised effective date.
