TaleReady support

What do you need to get moving?

These are the fastest fixes for the situations most likely to interrupt an import, a run, or an offline listening session.

An import looks slow

Files stored only in iCloud must be retrieved before TaleReady can copy and inspect them. Keep the import screen open; the current phase and overall progress will continue to update. You can stop safely and retry later.

Apple Watch is not ready yet

Install and open TaleReady on Apple Watch once, keep both devices nearby, and open the Watch tab on iPhone. Background delivery is controlled by watchOS, so the connection may read Available in Background while the display is off. Only verified playable audio counts toward ready time.

Preparation needs attention

Open TaleReady on both devices, then use the single Continue Preparation action on iPhone. Completed and verified audio is preserved; TaleReady resumes missing work instead of starting the book again.

Playback is silent

Apple Watch requires a Bluetooth audio route. Connect headphones or a speaker, then press Play again. TaleReady does not report playback as active when the system route picker is dismissed without a usable route.

A Pro purchase is missing

Open Settings → TaleReady Pro → Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple Account that made the one-time purchase. Store or network trouble never removes imported books, progress, or existing offline audio.

Watch storage is low

The Watch tab shows usable space and audio stored by TaleReady. Remove offline audio there when needed. This never deletes the imported source files or the managed audiobook on iPhone.

Useful when a problem repeats

Export a privacy-safe support bundle

  1. On iPhone, open TaleReady → Settings → Support.
  2. Choose Export Support Bundle.
  3. Review the system share sheet and choose where to send or save it.

The export is created only when you request it. Private identifiers are redacted, and audiobook titles, filenames, paths, and audio are not included. Nothing is uploaded automatically.

Still stuck?

Keep the details together.

Note what you expected, what happened, your iPhone and watchOS versions, and whether the Watch app was open. Add the support bundle when one is available.

A direct contact address will appear here before the public App Store release.
